Question 1

What surfaces can be painted in an industrial setting?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the condition and type of surface, but industrial painting can include suitable steel, concrete, walls, floors, machinery and other surfaces. We assess the area first so the preparation and coating are appropriate for the job.

Question 2

Can you paint galvanized steel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Painting galvanized steel requires proper preparation because the surface can make adhesion more difficult than ordinary steel. We can assess the condition of the galvanized surface and determine the preparation and coating system needed.

Question 3

What paint is suitable for industrial steel?

Accepted Answer

The right steel paint depends on where the steel is located, how it is used and what it is exposed to. Indoor and outdoor surfaces can have very different requirements, so we look at the environment before recommending a suitable coating.

Question 4

Can outdoor steel be painted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Outdoor steel can be painted when it has been correctly prepared and an appropriate coating is used. Outdoor steel paint needs to cope with exposure to moisture and changing weather, so choosing the right system is important.

Question 5

Can you carry out painting on rubber?

Accepted Answer

Some rubber surfaces can be painted, but not every paint will adhere properly or remain flexible enough for the material. Painting on rubber needs to be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and we can look at the surface before advising on the most suitable approach.

Question 6

Do you provide industrial floor painting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can carry out industrial floor painting on suitable surfaces where a durable, practical finish is required. The condition and use of the floor will be considered before deciding on the appropriate preparation and coating.

Question 7

Can industrial painting be carried out without disrupting operations?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, the work can be planned around the way a site operates. We can discuss access, working hours and the areas involved so the project can be organised as efficiently as possible.
